Family who live far away

You do not have to be in the same house to look at the same board. Start a party, send the link or the QR code, and the other person opens it in a browser. One of you can be on a laptop and the other on a phone.

Keep a call running while you play. A 10-minute game leaves room to catch up between rounds, which is usually the point of the evening.

Playing with grandparents

Gomoku is one stone on one crossing point. Mancala and Japanese Mancala are picking stones up and sowing them around the board. There is almost nothing to memorize before the first move, and the screen says whose turn it is, so nobody has to ask twice.

Hanafuda Koi-Koi is the longer one here at 15 minutes, because you are collecting scoring sets. What each set is worth can be checked on screen, so there is no paper table to keep beside you.

Parents and children, in a short sitting

For a game nobody has played before, play a round against the CPU before you invite anyone. Then you are not explaining the rules while everyone waits, and a 10-minute game still fits before dinner. If someone has to step away mid-game, the CPU takes their seat until they come back.

FAQ

Can two people play on the same device?

Use one device per person. Even under the same roof, each person enters the party code on their own screen to reach the same table.

Can we play with family in another country?

Yes. Send the party link or the QR code, and they join by opening it in a browser.

Is it free?

Every game on this shelf is free, and the people you invite do not need an account.

Will my grandparents be able to play on their phone?

If the phone has a browser, yes. There is no app to install, so all they do is open the link you sent.

What if three or four of us are around?

Sevens takes 3 to 6 players, Crazy Eights 2 to 6, and Hearts 3 to 5. A CPU can fill any empty seat.
