What is Iipeikou (イーペーコー)?
Two identical runs in the same suit, in a closed hand.

How it is formed
- Collect two runs that are exactly the same, such as two 2-3-4 of characters.
- The hand must be closed.
- Two such pairs of runs make ryanpeikou, worth 3 han.

Winning with this shape gives the following.
- Yaku scored：Pinfu・Iipeikou・Menzen tsumo
- Fu：20 fu／3 han
- Points for this example：3,900 points（Tsumo）

How many han is Iipeikou?
1 han with a closed hand. Iipeikou does not count once you call.
Does Iipeikou count on an open hand?
No. It only counts on a closed hand.
Can iipeikou be open?
No. It is a closed-hand-only yaku and disappears as soon as you call a tile.
